What do you actually get for riding the bus in the middle of a Hide & Seek run? In Baldi's Basics Plus 0.7 the answer is a full 3D field trip with two minigames to choose from, a pile of items for winning and a bonus for a perfect score, all unlocked by a single Bus Pass.

Field Trips Become a Real Destination

Field trips now take place in explorable 3D hub areas instead of loading inside the floor. You reach them from the Pitstop by carrying a Bus Pass and clicking the bus door, and the bus itself is now a proper 3D object with collision.

Each trip offers two minigames, and you pick one. Winning spawns eight items and you can take up to three of them, while a perfect performance adds a 250 YTP bonus. That makes a field trip one of the best ways to stock up for a hard floor.

Players who skipped field trips in earlier builds suddenly had a strong reason to grab the Bus Pass. A good set of three items from the camping trip can carry a weak inventory through the rest of the run.

Campfire Frenzy and Pick-Quick-Nic in Baldi's Basics Plus 0.7

The camping trip returned as the first destination. In Campfire Frenzy you launch fuel into the fire to keep it burning, but some fuel actually harms the fire, so tossing everything in without looking will fail the minigame.

Pick-Quick-Nic asks you to quickly choose food before Baldi's appetite takes over. Baldi's favorite food has to be avoided, and rounds with hotdog bombs and pizza bombs push your reaction time. During testing, reaction windows were widened and hotdog rounds became less frequent than pizza rounds in the normal mode.

Clicking the Baldi standing near each minigame area opens its tutorial, and both games have their own music. Camping Baldi even moves his mouth in time with his voice, which most players spot during the tutorial explanation.

Pitstop Rules That Changed

Items can no longer be used in the Pitstop. This closed several bugs, but it also ended a few tricks where players used items in the rest area to set up the next floor.

The Pitstop now gives unlimited stamina, so you can walk to Johnny's Store, the storage locker and the bus without worrying about your staminometer. It makes the rest area feel like a real breather between floors.

Some players felt Pick-Quick-Nic was too fast at first, even after the adjustments, and it remains the minigame people complain about more often. Campfire Frenzy is generally considered the safer pick for collecting items.

Questions About Baldi's Basics Plus 0.7

How do you start a field trip?

Carry a Bus Pass into the Pitstop and click the bus door. Walking up to the bus is no longer enough, and without the pass in your inventory the trip will not start.

What do you win from Campfire Frenzy or Pick-Quick-Nic?

Winning spawns eight items and you choose up to three to keep. A perfect performance adds 250 YTPs on top, which can pay for a map or a Zesty Bar at Johnny's Store.

Which food should you avoid in Pick-Quick-Nic?

Baldi's favorite food must not be picked, and the bomb rounds with hotdogs and pizzas are the ones that trip people up. Watch which item Baldi is thinking of before clicking a plate.

Baldi's Basics Plus 0.7 made the bus worth catching, and anyone who has scooped three good items after a clean round of Campfire Frenzy knows that a Bus Pass found early can change the whole run.
